Here ignore the burgundy print top at left.
On either end are my two extra pieces, the jacket to my little black suit
on the left and my bburgundy felted wool jacket. on the right.
Swap was a great experience and I'm glad to have participated and to have seen it through.
There has been an unexpected benefit as well. It has made me think about how much I really do wear (or in some cases don't wear ) what I make. It has made me realize that I want to concentrate on making special items from now on or at least to sew only garments that I'll be sure to enjoy.
I've added a section on the sidebar,if that's the right term,called
A Few of my Favorite Things. The items you will see there are the clothes that I love and wear often. You can click on any one and see a few more shots of each piece.
I'd love to see others do this as well. I'd really be interested in seeing your favorite things.

Wow - that's such a nice collection. i'm working on a kind of SWAP but I'm not game to call it one in case I allow myself to be distracted.
A nice collection you have there! I cannot say enough about the merits of SWAP sewing.
Diana - your SWAP is awesome! And I want to concur with Shannon's comments...SWAP sewing really changes the way you view what you make and what you wear. It really is a worthwhile journey!
Diana, all your garments seen like this are awesome. You should be so proud of all these. They look fantastic. I would love to try my own little SWAP sewing one day, and I really wish I had time to sew this much. All in time.. I'm sure!
Great SWAP. Using grey/black for the main pieces really make the garments so versatile.
I really like the idea of showing your favourite garments too on the sidebar. That jean jacket is really eyecatching! Love it.
What a beautiful and well thought out collection! Congratulations!
