I realize I probably do have time...anyone can find 30 minutes can't they?....I think my problem is not utilizing well the time I have. So I will try to use some of these tips.

Riley is adorable. BTW, you have to be high energy. How else, could you both sew and blog...as someone else said you probably have more to share than just about sewing.....but I for one will settle for that and appreciate it.
How I wish I was part of that group you mentor.Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15968002518861526259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072586494339347029.post-75909252869289377912012-01-12T08:21:33.112-04:002012-01-12T08:21:33.112-04:00Oh my, Riley is just too cute for words! As a SAHM, I also use it as a reward sometimes. :-) Like, if I fold two loads of laundry, I can sew for 20 minutes.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08679998588660500127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072586494339347029.post-73393829176973801272012-01-12T07:18:52.302-04:002012-01-12T07:18:52.302-04:00Oh how adorable. I just go up to my sewing room and get totally engrossed in a project, but think Diana is right you have to schedule the time. The thing I hate most is when I have scheduled the time to sew and my twin sister turns up and just expects me to stop everything and sit and chat with her, I now make her come upstairs and sit in the chair I have up there if she wants to do this. I would love to do some volunteer work teaching people too, but not quite sure where to do this. I too am very very inspired by what Diana creates and her DGD is beautiful in her red dresspdiddlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12231666147175522583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072586494339347029.post-6950761877108730192012-01-12T01:07:23.680-04:002012-01-12T01:07:23.680-04:00Princess Riley - she's adorable. You look great, Diana, and I love the clothes you make for yourself.Debra Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07503806859943136527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072586494339347029.post-82539253536386479532012-01-11T22:55:24.610-04:002012-01-11T22:55:24.610-04:00Great tips on scheduling, and as a current teacher...Great tips on scheduling, and as a current teacher I too enjoy the 'de-stressing' side of sewing.
I think it is also important to have a little spot for sewing that doesn't need to be packed up or shifted each time. Somewhere that if you have a spare 5 minutes up your sleeve that you can just pick up where you last left off. And then that 5 minutes somehow turns into 30, then 40 then...Judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16406164663751567997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3072586494339347029.post-70375165747217217242012-01-11T22:20:38.796-04:002012-01-11T22:20:38.796-04:00Thank you for all the tips, I also sew twice a mon...Thank you for all the tips, I also sew twice a month at 2 ASG groups and I'm trying to slot in a little bit each day either before or after work so I will see how that works out.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14691687252337993643noreply@blogger.com
